CMS Building Services maintains in excess of 650 buildings, not including the over 1,200 mobile classroom units that are housed on school grounds. The combined space (permanent buildings and mobiles) is in excess of 21 million square feet, and sits on over 5,000+ acres of land.
Building Services completes more than 90,000 work orders annually and their employees keep critical learning and workplace environments suitable for the education process meeting and exceeding customer expectations on a daily basis.

Transportation
CMS transportation is the largest public school transportation district in the state and one of the 10 largest transportation districts in the nation. We have quite a fleet of buses, trucks, and other district vehicles that must operate in tip-top shape!

CMS has a high need for Transportation Technicians. In this role, you will perform complex duties in the operation, repair and maintenance of buses and other vehicles in the school transportation program.
